1 c. shortening or margarine
2 c. brown sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. baking soda
3½ c. flour
½ tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla extract
¼ tsp. walnut extract
1 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together shortening or margarine and brown sugar. Add eggs and vanilla and walnut extracts. Add in flour and baking soda. Add nuts. Shape into long, narrow rolls, put in plastic wrap and chill overnight. Preheat oven to 375º. Slice rolls to make small rounds, place on cookie sheets, bake until very lightly browned.
