1 pkg dry yeast
cup water
cup sugar
cup shortening
1 tsp salt
1 cup silk, scalded (heat milk until bubbles begin to form)
1 egg, slightly beaten
3 cups all purpose flour

Directions:
Directions:
Soften yeast in warm water.In large bowl combine sugar, shortening and salt. Stir in hot milk; cool to lukewarm. Add softened yeast, eggs and 2 cups of the flour. Beat well. Gradually add remaining flour. Cover, let rise in warm place until double in about 1 hours.
Grease a 12 sectioned muffin tin. Deflate the dough, and place onto a well-floured work surface. Divide the dough into 36 pieces, and form into balls. Place 3 balls into each muffin cup. Place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise in a warm place until doubled in bulk, about 1 hour.
Preheat an oven to 400
Bake in the preheated oven until golden, 12 to 15 minutes. Serve warm.

The ingredients and first section of the directions are directly from Hattie Mae's recipe card. Unfortunately that's where the directions end. The rest of the directions I found in a recipe online that had the same ingredients and same measurements.
