For MEATBALLS:
1 LB GROUND BEEF
1 MEDIUM ONION, CHOPPED
1 LARGE EGG
2TB (lacotelli or parmesan) GRATED CHEESE
2 TB CHOPPED PARSLEY
SALT & PEPPER
BREADCRUMBS

For SAUCE:
1 Large can of Tomato PUREE (Progresso or Hunt)
1 small can Tomato PASTE (Progresso or Hunt)
2 large BASIL leaves
LARGE can of water

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all meatball ingredients together, adding breadcrumbs until meat is dry enough to form into balls.
Fry in a 4 qt saucepan until browned
along with the meatballs, fry 1/2 lb of sweet Italian sausage

Pour sauce ingredients over browned meat & let simmer for 1 - 1+1/2 hours until sauce is thickened. Stir occassionally..
