1 tbsp. vegetable oil
1 lb. ground chicken/beef, drained
12 oz. Andouille sausage, sliced
1 tbsp. chili powder
2 c. onion, chopped
1½ c. green bell pepper, chopped
1 tbsp. garlic, finely chopped
1 tsp. cumin
1 tsp. paprika
1 tsp. salt
1 (28 oz.) can crushed tomatoes
1 (15 oz.) can black beans, drained
1 (10 oz.) can Ro-tel hot diced tomatoes with habaneros

Directions:

1. Heat oil in large saucepan. Add chicken, sausage, and 1 tbsp. chili powder, cook until meat is no longer pink, remove and set aside meat.
2. Add onion, pepper, garlic, cook 5 minutes or until tender, add cumin, paprika, salt, chili powder, cook until fragrant (about 1 minute).
3. Combine meat and veggies. Stir in tomatoes, beans, Ro-tel. Allow to come to a boil, simmer for 10 minutes.
4. Consume with pride!
