1 stick of butter
2 cups brown sugar
3 tbsp evaporated milk
1 tbsp water
2 tbsp butter
1 tsp vanilla
cup pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Melt butter in a heavy saucepan add brown sugar evaporated milk and water boil mixture over medium heat spoon some into a china saucer and stir it to check consistency when it becomes thick enough add 2 tbsp butter and 1 tsp vanilla add pecans you can pour over cake enough to ice a three layer cake or a 13 x 9 cake press pecan halves on top of icing
