2 slices bacon, diced
1 cup pumpkin puree
2 large eggs
salt
1 cup old fashioned oats
3 cups whole wheat flour

Directions:

Preheat over to 350º

Line baking sheet with parchment paper

Cook bacon until crispy, keep fat

In a bowl, beat pumpkin puree, eggs, bacon fat, pinch of salt on medium-high until well combined.
gradually add oats and 2 ½ cups flour until dough is no longer sticky.
Add bacon, stir until incorporated.

Flour a surface and kneed dough until it comes together.
Using a rolling pin, roll our dough until ¼ inch thickness.
Cut into shapes and place on baking sheet.

Bake 20-25 minutes or until edges are golden brown.

Store in the refrigerator.

Our dog loved these treats. They have no preservatives so be sure to store them in the refrigerator.
Found cute dog bone cookie cutters for these - not that our dog really cared, she just ate them right up!
