1/2 cup shortening
1/2 cup white sugar
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 egg
1 cup flour
3/4 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon aking soda
1 6 oz. package chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together sugars and shortening. Add vanilla and egg; mix until light and fluffy. Sift dry ingredients together and
add to first mixture. Blend well. Fold in chocolate chips and nuts. Bake at 350º for 10-12 minutes.
