1 tbsp oil
2 1/2 lbs hamburger
1 1/2 tbsp minced garlic
24 oz tomato paste
3 tsp salt
2 stalks celery and leaves (purée or chopped fine)
1/2 lb chopped onion
1 24 oz can tomato puree
3 tsp basil
1 1/4 tsp pepper
2 cans water (to clean cans with)

Directions:
Directions:
Cover bottom of pan with oil. Add onions, garlic and celery. Cook until clear.
Add meat and brown. Add tomato paste and tomato puree. Clean paste and purée
cans with 2 cans water (more or less). Mix; add spices and boil for 15 minutes, then
reduce heat and simmer for 3 hours, stirring occasionally.
** This sauce can be frozen.
