2 cups of cooked and mashed squash
1 cup dry bread crumbs
1 tbsp grated onions
2 eggs
1 cup milk
3 tbsp butter
1 tsp salt
pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º
Boil squash and mash, draining off juices - melt butter in hot milk and pour over ¾ cup of bread crumbs - set aside - then add grated onion and ¼ cup bread crumbs to squash mixture - mix well add salt and pepper - beat eggs well and add to squash mixture – pour into a greased baking dish and cover with (set aside) buttered bread crumbs – bake for 20 to 30 min
