4 oz cream cheese (½ pkg) at room temperature
1 lb confectioners sugar
food flavoring (your choice) peppermint or wintergreen are good choices
food coloring
granulated sugar for coating mints

Directions:
Directions:
1. Place cream cheese in a large mixing bowl.
2. Using an electric mixer start adding powdered sugar until you reach the consistency of play dough.
You may not need all of the confectioner sugar.
3. Add a drop or 2 of the flavoring and mix to incorporate. Taste, add more flavoring if desired.
4. Take a marble sized portion of the dough and roll it in granulated sugar.
5. Place the ball of dough on a plate/cookie sheet and press flat with a fork.
6. Refrigerate until ready to serve.
