1 ½ lb sirloin steak
1 c water
1 clove garlic minced
1 bell pepper sliced ¾ inch
2 tsp sugar
3 T vegetable oil
1 medium onion sliced ¼ inch
¼ tsp ground ginger
1 T cornstarch
2 T soy sauce

Directions:

Slice steak in to 2" x 1/2" strips, cook in hot vegetable oil in wok or large skillet for 5 minutes, until brown. Stir in water, garlic and ginger. Heat mix to boil, reduce heat to low, cover and simmer for 12-15 minutes. Add bell pepper and onion during last 5 minutes. Mix cornstarch, sugar, and soy sauce in small bowl. stir into beef mixture. Cook stirring constantly until mix thickens and boils. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat and serve over rice.
