1 can green beans
instant mashed potatoes
1 can condensed tomato soup
1 lb. ground beef, or meatloaf mix

Optional ingredients:
spices & flavors
small can of tomato sauce

Directions:
Directions:
Brown beef on medium-high in a pan. If desired, season with salt, black pepper and other spices. Drain any excess oil from the pan, then add tomato soup. Let beef finish cooking in the soup until it reaches a gravy consistency. Add green beans and mix thoroughly. Season mixture to taste, cover and let sit while preparing and plating the mashed potatoes (per package instructions). Pour beef/green bean/tomato mixture on top of potatoes.

This recipe was passed down from Harlem's great-grandma. She came up with it while living in Alaska and had to feed five kids on a budget. It's cheap, easy and nutritious.
