Meat loaves:
2 lb. ground beef
2 eggs, beaten
1/2 c. cracker crumbs
1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. ketchup
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
8 onion slices

Sauce:
1/2 c. onion, chopped
1/2 c. butter
1/2 c. ketchup
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. chili powder
3 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
dash of Tabasco sauce

Meat loaves:
Combine all ingredients (except onion slices) and separate into 8 parts. Put each section into square of aluminum foil. Place onion slice on top of each meat loaf. Pour approximately 2 tablespoons of sauce over each meat loaf and bake at 400º for 35-40 minutes.

Sauce:
Simmer onion in butter until onion is tender. Then add ketchup, brown sugar, chili powder, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper and Tabasco sauce. Bring to a boil and remove from heat.
