1/2 c. shortening
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. flour
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. mashed banana
1 c. chopped nuts
Directions:
Directions:
cream shortening and sugar. Sift flour, baking powder, soda and salt together. Add the flour mixture and milk alternating. Beat eggs and add while stirring mixture. last add vanilla bananas and nuts. Pour into two 8" layer cake pans and place in 350ºF 30 to 35 min.
When cool frost with cream cheese Frosting
