¾ cup granulated sugar
½ tsp nutmeg
1 tsp vanilla
⅔ cup butter
1 egg
4 tsp milk
2 cups flour
¼ tsp salt
1 ½ tsp baking powder

Directions:
Directions:
Pre-heat oven to 350F

Cream together: butter, sugar, nutmeg, and vanilla until light and fluffy
Add edd and milk; mix well
Sift together: flour baking powder, and salt
Combine dry ingredients with butter mixture
Divide and chill for at least an hour
Roll chilled doug out to about ⅛ inch thick and cut into shapes
Bake for 6-9 minutes

Note: can substitute cinnamon, ginger and/or allspice for nutmeg
