2 c. flour
3/4 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg
1 c. applesauce
3 ripe bananas, mashed
1 c. chocolate chips
1 c. dried cherries

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl, combine the flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. In another bowl, mix together the egg and applesauce. Add applesauce mixture to the flour mixture. Stir in bananas, chocolate chips and dried cherries.

Spoon batter into a greased muffin pan until each muffin cup is almost full.

Bake in a preheated 375º oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned.
