2 T active dry yeast (I use instant)
3/4 cup lukewarm water (only wrist temperature - 105-115º1/2 cup sugar
1 t salt
2 eggs
1/2 cup soft butter
4 cups all purpose flour
More soft butter

Directions:
Directions:
1. Dissolve yeast in warm water.
2. Stir in sugar, salt, eggs, butter and 2 cups of flour.
3. Beat until smooth.
4. Mix in enough remaining flour to make a smooth soft dough.
5. Cover and let rise in a warm place until double (maybe 1 1/2 hours).
6. Divide in half, roll each half into a 12 inch circle, spread with butter.
7. Cut into 16 wedges, roll each wedge tightly starting at wide edge.
8. Tuck point under and place on buttered baking sheet.
9. Cover and let rise til double (about 1 hour).
10. Bake in preheated oven 375º, for 12-15 minutes, until golden brown.

You should double this recipe as these buns are so poplar.
This is a holiday treat as they are very rich. The children say they look like turtles!
