Ingredients:  
3/4 c. white Karo syrup
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 c. white sugar
2 1/2 c. raw peanuts
1 tsp. soda

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, syrup and water in saucepan. Cook until mixture spins a thread around a spoon. Add peanuts and cook until mixture turns a brown color. Remove from heat. Add soda and stir quickly. Pour onto a heavy, greased baking sheet. Let cool and break into pieces.
Note: When adding peanut to boiling syrup, stir constantly to keep mixture from scorching.
