1 cup (2 sticks ) cutter softened
1 ¼ cups firmly packed brown sugar
½ cup granulate sugar
2 eggs
2 tablespoon of milk
2 teaspoon vanilla
1 ¾ cups of all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon of baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
2 ½ cups Quaker Oats uncooked
One pkg 12 oz. semi-sweet chocolate morsels
½ cup chopped walnuts

Heat oven to 375 F . Beat together butter and sugar until creamy. Add eggs, milk and vanilla , beat well. Add combined flour, baking soda and salt and mix well. Stir in oats, chocolate morsels, nuts and mix well. Drop by round tablespoonfuls onto ungreased cooking sheets . Bake 9 to 10 minutes for a chewy cookie or 12 to 13 minutes for a crisp cookie. Cool 1 minute on cookie sheet, remove to wire rack . Cool completely . Storage in tightly covered container .
