4 cups milk
1 cup sugar
1 stick margarine
1 pkg yeast
cup warm water
teaspoon sugar
8 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Scald 4 cups of milk. Add 1 cup sugar and 1 stick margarine. Let cool to lukewarm and dissolve one packet of yeast in 1/2 cup lukewarm water. Add 1/2 teaspoons sugar, add yeast mixture and 4 cups sifted flour. Mix well and let rise until doubled. . Sift together 4 cups flour and one heaping teaspoon baking soda and 1 teaspoon salt. Sift over sponge dough. Stir and mix in. Knead until soft dough. Refrigerate until ready to use. Will Keep two weeks.

Roll to 1/2 inch thickness. Cut into rectangles and fry. Stirring repeatedly until done.
