1 1/2 c. sugar
3 T. flour (level)
2 whole eggs
1 flat can crushed pineapple
1/2 stick oleo
1 9 in. unbaked pie crust

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Pour mixture into an unbaked pie shell. Once you place the pie in the oven, immediately reduce the temperature to 300º and bake for about 1 hour.

Verda's brother worked for Dorothy's father in his grocery store, Spees' Grocery, in Cooper, TX, for many years. Dorothy said that she has probably made this pie 40 times over the years. You can bet it was in a homemade crust every time.
