2 8 oz packs of pitted dates 4 tablespoons water
1 stick butter 1 teaspoon vanilla
1 cup Brown sugar 2 cups of Rice Crispies

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together in sauce pan: Dates, butter, brown sugar, and water. Cook over medium heat for 10 minutes or until it thickens into a paste. Remove from heat and add 1 teaspoon vanilla. Mix in 2 cups Rice Crispies. Allow mix to cool to tough and roll into small balls. Roll ball in powdered sugar. Makes 4 dozen
