Blueberry Grunt Recipe

3 cups blueberries
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp nutmeg
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup orange juice


1 cup flour
2 tsp baking power
1/4 tsp salt
1 tsp sugar
1 tbsp butter
1/2 cup milk

In a wide saucepan combine
blueberry,sugar,nutmeg,cinnamon,orange juice
Bring to a boil, reduce heat and simmer,uncovered
stirring often for 5 minutes

Mix flour,baking power,salt and sugar
Cut in butter
With fork add enough milk to make soft dough
Drop by spoonfuls on hot berries
Cover tightly and simmer 15 minutes


Transfer dumplings to serving dishes
Top with berries
