For Cake:
2 cups sugar 2 cups flour
2 sticks margarine 2 Tbs. cocoa
1 cup water 1 tsp. Baking soda dissolved in ½ cup buttermilk
2 well-beaten eggs Dash of salt
1 tsp. Vanilla

For Icing:
1 stick margarine 4 Tbs. cocoa
½ cup Milk 1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp. Vanilla 1 cup pecan meats

For Cake:
Sift together sugar and flour. Bring butter, cocoa and water to a boil. Pour over dry ingredients. Mix well and add Baking soda, buttermilk, eggs, vanilla and salt; mix well. Batter will be thin. Pour into greased and floured sheet cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 20 to 30 minutes. Top with Icing.

For Icing:
Bring to boil over low heat the margarine, cocoa and milk. Add powdered sugar, vanilla and pecans; mix well and spread over cake while the cake is still hot.
