1/2 lb. fettuccine noodles
1/2 cup butter
1 to 2 cloves chopped garlic - or more to your liking
2/3 cup heavy cream or half & half
1/2 tsp. salt
1/3 cup Parmesan cheese, grated fresh is best
Romano cheese (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Precook fettuccine noodles in salted water according to package directions, drain.

To make the sauce, combine butter & garlic, saute' 1 to 2 minutes over medium heat. Be careful not to burn the garlic!! Add heavy cream or half & half and salt. Heat over medium heat until mixture starts to bubble. Add Parmesan cheese. Stir rapidly for 1 minute or until the cheese has melted.

Add noodles to sauce and stir to cover them with the sauce.
