1 cup sugar
5 Tbsp. water
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/4 tsp. vanilla
2 cups walnut halves


You need a candy thermometor for this recipe!!

Directions:
Directions:
Mix all ingredients except walnuts. Cover and bring to a boil.

Uncover and boil to softball stage (240 degrees). Remove from heat and add nuts immediately. Stir carefully until the syrup coating the nuts sugars.

Turn onto wax paper. Separate the nuts and allow to dry.

These nuts will go fast! If you want to make a double batch, make two separate batches instead of doubling the ingredients.
