1/2 c. veg oil 1/4 c. milk
2 c. all purpose flour 1 c. packed brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
2 tsp. vanilla
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. chopped peeled apples
1 c. coarsely chopped walnuts

beat eggs until frothy. Add sugar. blend in oil and vanilla combine flour salt and soda add to egg mixture. Stir in apples and nuts. Pour into greased 10"tube pan Bake 350º for 1 hour 15 min Cool 10 min then removed to platter
Topping combine butter milk and brown sugar ins a sauce pan boil 3 min string constantly pour over warm cake
