Whoopie Pies

2 C. Unsifted Flour
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1/4 tsp. Salt
1/3 C. Cocoa
1 C. Sugar
1 Egg
1/3 C. Shortening
1 tsp. Vanilla
3/4 C. Milk

Filling:
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 stick of Butter
I C. Confectioners Sugar
3 Heaping tbsps. Marshmallow Creme

Directions:
Directions:
In a medium bowl cream together the shortening, sugar and egg.
Add milk and vanilla.
Sift in dry ingredients. Mix well.
Grease cookie sheets. Spoon batter onto sheets in same size, ~2” circles.
Bake 10 minutes in 350 degree oven.

Filling
Combine and spread in between pies.
