2 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking powder
¼ teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
1 cup of buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Combine the dry ingredients in a bowl. Make a well and pour in the buttermilk and mix. Turn dough out on lightly floured board, knead a few times until soft but not sticky. Roll out in strips and fry in hot oil.
