1/2 bunch cilantro
1/2- 4 oz. can diced jalapenos (more or less to taste)
1 or 2 cloves garlic (jar of diced)
4 or 5 green onions or 1/2 red
1- 29 oz can whole tomatoes

Directions:

Chop cilantro into 1" pieces, keeping stems separate.
Chop onion into 1" pieces.

In food processor, "pulse" the stem portions of cilantro, garlic and jalapenos until blended together. Add the can of tomatoes (do not drain). and onion, "pulse" a couple more times. Then add tops of cilantro and "pulse" a little more.

Pour into bowl and serve with your favorite chips.

Of course, you could use fresh ingredients, but this is the quick version. It's a very versatile recipe that you can tweak to your personal taste. You might want to start with about 1/3 can of jalapenos and add more if needed. The hotness of jalapenos sometimes varies, just like fresh chilies do. Personally, grandpa and I don't care much for cilantro, so I don't use as much of the leaves and don't use the stems at all.
