2 c. sifted flour
2 c. white sugar
6 egg whites
2 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
½ tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 c. scalded milk
Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 325°. Sift flour and white sugar together 7 times. Heat milk and pour over flour and sugar. Let cool and add vanilla. Beat egg whites, add baking powder and cream of tartar. Fold into cooled mixture. Put into 9x13" cake pan bake until an inserted knife comes out clean, 20-25 minutes. Invert to cool.
