Ingredients:
Ingredients:
1 egg
2 tbsp. sugar
1 c. milk
1 c. flour
¼ tsp. salt
2 tsp. brandy flavoring

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg slightly, add other ingredients. Beat until smooth. Heat rosette iron in vegetable oil to 365° (use candy thermometer). Dip iron in batter and return to oil. Fry until lightly browned. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. If you are having difficulty removing the rosettes from the iron, they are not fried long enough. If fat blisters are present, the eggs were beaten too long. If batter drops from the iron, the oil isn't deep enough. If the rosettes aren't crisp, they were fried too fast.
