1 cup raisings
1 cup thick applesauce
1/2 cup butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 egg
2 cups flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. cloves
1 cup nuts

MIx raisins and applesauce, let stand
Beat together butter, sugar and eggs.
Mix together reamining ingredients.
Combine all ingredients.
Drop by teaspoonful on greased baking sheet.
Bake 375º fir 12 minutes

When cool, frost with powdered sugar frosting.
