Bohemian Brownies Recipe

Set oven at 350°
Mix in mixing bowl:
2 c. sifted flour
2 c. sugar
Bring to boil:
2 sticks of margarine
1 c. water
¼ c. cocoa
Pour hot liquid mixture over dry mixture and blend together.
Add: 1 tsp baking soda dissolved in ½ c. buttermilk
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
Add: 1 c. nuts (or as many as you desire) Best if chopped and sprinkled with a bit of flour.
Beat all well.
Pour in greased and floured 11 x 17" baking pan (use large frosting recipe) with raised edge (at least one inch).
Bake 15-22 minutes, allow to cool before frosting.

You can also use a 9x13" pan, but use the small frosting recipe.
Small Frosting Recipe
¼ c. margarine
¼ c. milk
2 tbsp. cocoa
1 c. sugar
6 marshmallows
½ c. chocolate chips (add later)
Bring to boil so marshmallows are melted - remove from heat, add chips, beat until chips are melted. Spread on brownies.
Large Frosting Recipe
⅓ c. margarine
⅓ c. milk
2 tbsp. cocoa
1½ c. sugar
11 marshmallows
1 c. chocolate chips. (add later)
Cool same as the Small Frosting Recipe. Remove from heat and add chocolate chips. Beat until melted and spread on brownies.
Cut brownies before frosting gets too hard.
