Dry Ingredients:
2 c. Self-Rising Flour (WR® is my preference)
¼ tsp. Salt
¼ tsp. Baking Soda

Wet Ingredients:
1 c. Buttermilk (Bulgarian®)
2 tbsp. Unsalted Butter + 1 tbsp. melted, brush on tops
3 tbsp. Shortening (Crisco®)

Directions:
Directions:
Mix dry ingredients in one bowl.
Mix wet ingredients in another bowl.
Make a well in the dry ingredients and add the wet ingredients and mix gently.
Roll out on floured surface.
Preheat oven to 450º
Cut out with 2" in diamerter biscuits cutter.
Place on baking sheet.
Bake on the middle rack.
Bake untl golden brown and brush with melted butter.
