1 cup sugar
3 slightly beaten egg yolks
1/2 cup butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/3 cups coconut
1 cup chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
Combine evaporated milk, sugar, egg yolks, butter and vanilla. Cook and stir over medium heat until thickened. Add coconut and pecans. Cool until thick enough to spread, stirring occasionally. Makes 2 1/2 cups.

Used for german chocoalte cake.
