Ingredients:
Ingredients:
230 grams penne noodles
2-3 chicken breasts
3 tbsp butter
3 tbsp flour
3 cups blend cream
1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
1 tsp garlic powder
salt, to taste
pepper, to taste
parsley for topping

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 400º.

Bring a large pot of water to a boil and cook the penne noodles until just done. Drain and set aside.

Cook chicken in a greased skillet over medium heat until cooked through. Chop into 1 inch pieces and set aside.

In the pot where you cooked the noodles melt the butter over medium heat. Once melted, sprinkle flour over the butter and stir til it clumps together. Gradually whisk in the milk until smooth. Stir in garlic powder and salt and pepper to taste.

Add noodles and chicken to the sauce and stir to combine. Transfer mixture to a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Sprinkle with remaining parmesan cheese and parsley.

Bake for 10-15 minutes until cheese is melty and begins to brown around the edges.

Personal Notes:
This alfredo recipe is so creamy without being too heavy on the cheese. It thickens up in the oven, so don't worry if the sauce seems a bit thin. It can be made without the chicken but it does add some nice flavour. Be careful not to add too much salt.
