1/2 lb. of sausage of your choice. I use Bob Evans.
1/2 cup of all purpose flour
1/4 Tsp. of ground sage
Milk to thinness desired
Vegetable oil to make enough liquid for base of gravy, about 2 Tlbs.

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage in cast iron skillet and make sure it is very well chopped up. When it is browned, remove sausage from skillet but leave as much of the grease as you can. You may have to add a couple of tablespoons of vegetable oil to have enough liquid. While skillet is still hot,, add flour and stir well with a whisk until beginning to brown. Skillet will be hot so carefully add about a cup of milk to begin with and stir constantly until it begins to thicken. Continue to add milk until gravy is the consistency that you desire
.
Serve over biscuits.
