Spaghetti Recipe

2 medium chopped onions
2 chopped bulbs garlic
1 can tomato paste
1 lg can crushed tomatoes
1 T oregano
1 T basil
1/4 t thyme
1 T sugar
water (fill empty can of crushed tomatoes 3/4 way w/water)

2 lbs hamburger
1 c bread crumbs
2 t salt
dash pepper
1/2 c grated parmesan cheese
2 eggs
4 sweet Italian sausages
4 hot Italian sausages
3 bay leaves

Sauce: sauté in sauce pan: 1 onion and 2 garlic bulbs. Add tomato paste and cook 2 minutes. Add crushed tomatoes, oregano, basil, bay leaves, thyme, sugar and water as noted above.

Meatballs: mix hamburger, bread crumbs, salt, pepper, 1 medium onion, grated parmesan cheese, eggs and 1 bulb garlic then drop meatballs into sauce. Boil the Italian sausages in water for 10 minutes, remove from water and add to sauce.

Simmer 2-3 hours until meatballs are done.
