Apple Pie Recipe

6 c peeled and sliced Granny Smith apples
1 T lemon juice
c sugar
c light brown sugar
2 T flour
t cinnamon
t nutmeg
2 T butter
1 egg yolk, beaten
⅛ t cinnamon
2 t sugar
Pillsbury pie crust

Put dough in dish. Combine apples and lemon juice in bowl. Combine sugar and next 4 ingredients. Spoon over apples, tossing with apples. Spoon into pastry shell. Dot with butter. Put second pastry on top, trim amd crimp. Cut slits in top. Brush with egg and sprinkle cinnamon and sugar on top. Cover edges with foil. Bake at 450 for 15 min, reduce heat to 350 and bake 50 more min.
