3 cups Fresh Broccoli Chopped chunky
2 Large Carrots Juliann sliver cut
1/4 tsp. Garlic powder
1 med Yellow Onion
2 cloves minced Garlic
2 cups Chicken Broth (low sodium)
1/4 tsp Mustard Dry
1/4 cup Flour
1/4 tsp Paprika
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1/4 tsp Salt
1 Tbsp. Butter
1/4 Cup Salted Butter
2 cups Cheddar Cheese freshly grated is best.
2 Cups Half & Half

Directions:
Directions:
Large pot med heat melt butter add diced up onion cook til softened and slightly see though.
add garlic sauté for an other minute. In small bowl whish flour with 1/2 cup of water then add it to the large pot. whisk all together when it begins to turn a light brown add chicken stock, broccoli and shredded carrot and all seasonings, Bring to a boil reduce heat simmer for 15 ish mins or until the vegies are soft. Stir in Half and half, cheddar cheese and simmer 3 more minute til cheese meltes in.
Optional for topping
extra cheddar cheese
green onion chopped
