2 cups milk
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup sugar
1 envelope Knox gelatine
1/2 pint whipping cream
1 tsp vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Whip egg yolks and sugar until light. Scald milk in double boiler and then add egg mixture. Add gelatine dissolved in a little water. Cook until spoon is coated. Place in refrigerator until partially congealed. Add vanilla. Beat cream until stiff and fold in to first mixture.

Add ladyfingers, if you like.
