Double Chocolate Banana Muffins Recipe

3/4 cup white granulated sugar (or brown sugar)
1 stick butter, softened
2 eggs
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup 100% cocoa
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup mashed bananas
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)

1 cup powdered sugar
3 to 4 tbsp milk

Cream butter, sugar and eggs with mixer. Add in buttermilk, oil, and vanilla extract. In another bowl whisk together the flour, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Combine the egg mixture with the flour mixture and mix well. Fold in mashed bananas, chips, and nuts with a spoon. Spray a 12 cup muffin tin with cooking spray. Fill cups about 3/4 full. Bake in preheated 350 oven until centers test done or 25 to 30 min.

Mix together with a spoon until thin enough to drizzle over cupcakes. You can add more or less milk.
