1 c. hot water
⅔ c. sugar
½ c. shortening
1 tsp. salt

2 pkgs. dry yeast
3 T. warm water

3 eggs
5 c. flour
1 stick melted butter

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first 4 ingredients. Let cool.

Dissolve 2 pkgs yeast in 3T. warm water. Add to above ingredients. Add 3 well beaten eggs. Add 5 c. flour. Let rise until light - 1 hour.

Crescents - Divide dough into 6 parts. Roll each. Brush with melted butter. Cut each part into 6 segments. Roll from outside in. Place on cookie sheet.

350º - 20 minutes - Brush with melted butter after taking out of oven.
