1 Egg
1/4c Sugar
1/2c Shortening
1/2c Brown Sugar
1/2tsp Vanilla
1/2tsp Salt
1/2tsp Baking Soda
1c Flour - sometimes a little more
1c Chocolate Chips - or MORE

Preheat oven 375
Bake 8-10 DO NOT OVER BAKE

Mix well-
Egg, sugar, brown sugar, and shortening. Add vanilla, salt, baking soda, Slowly add flour. Stir in chocolate chips.

The trick to these cookies is to add just enough flour so that the dough is tacky, but wont stick to your fingers. DONT add too much flour.
