1/2 cup butter, softened
2 cups sugar
3 tablespoons flour
3 eggs, beaten
1 cup buttermilk
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cup nuts
1/2 cup coconut

Directions:

Cream butter, sugar and flour. Stir in buttermilk and vanilla. Pour into 2 pie shells. Sprinkle top with nuts. Bake at 350 for 40-50 minutes.

This was one of my favorite desserts my grandmother made. I've loved it since I was a kid. I have never tasted a buttermilk pie I thought was as good as my Nana Huff made!
