1 head cabbage
1 tbsp salt
3 sticks celery
½ green pepper, chopped
1 cup vinegar
½ cup water
2 cups sugar
1 tbsp mustard seed
1 tbsp celery seed

Directions:
Directions:
Sprinkle salt over cut up cabbage. Let stand 1 hour. Squeeze out juice.

Mix cabbage, celery and green pepper together; set aside. Mix remaining ingredients together in a saucepan and bring to a boil. Boil 1 minute, remove from heat and cool. Pour over cabbage mixture and mix well. Put in containers and freeze.

Note: Will keep up to 1 year, if it lasts that long. You can grate carrots and mix with cabbage mixture if desired. May also refreeze.
