Ingredients:  
1 onion, chopped
1 lb. lean hamburger or chopped chicken
1 small can chopped green chiles
1 can corn, NOT drained
1 can Ranch beans (or baked beans)
1 can Mexican stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
1 pkg. Ranch style dressing
3- cups water
1 package taco seasoning
salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Saute' onion and chopped hamburger (or chicken) until done. Drain grease. Add all other ingredients in a large pot. Bring to a boil, then add a pinch of baking soda and stir. Let simmer for approximately 40-45 minutes.

Serve with shredded cheese, sour cream, or avocado on top as you desire.

This soup can be spicy! Use baked beans, mild chiles, and less taco seasoning if you like it less spicy.
