1¼ c sugar, divided
1 c flour
7 T cocoa, divided
2 t baking powder
¼ t salt
½ c milk
⅓ c butter, melted
1½ t vanilla
½ c packed light brown sugar
1¼ c hot water
Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350º. In bowl stir together ¾ c sugar, flour, 3 T cocoa, baking powder and salt. Stir in milk, butter and vanilla. Beat until smooth. Pour batter into square dish. Stir remaining ½ c sugar, brown sugar and remaining 4 T cocoa; sprinkle evenly over batter. Pour hot water over top; don't stir. Bake 35-40 min or until middle is set. Let stand 15 min. Serve with ice cream.
