1 (14-oz) can sweetened condensed milk
½ c lemon juice
1 t lemon zest
3 egg yolks
3 egg whites
¼ t cream of tartar
¼ c sugar

Crust:
1½ c graham cracker crumbs
½-1 stick butter, melted
¼ c sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. Combine crumbs, butter and sugar. Pat into a pie dish. Bake for 20 min. Let cool. Combine first 3 ingredients and blend in egg yolks. Pour into cooled crust. Beat egg whites with cream of tartar until soft peaks form. Gradually add the sugar until stiff peaks form. Spread over filling and spread to edges to seal pie. Bake 15 min or until golden.


It can be doubled to have a taller pie.
